Tesla Model X vs Rivian R1S as a viable Full-size 7-seater EV in the US

I recently responded to a Twitter post discussing the better option

for a Full-size 7-seater Ev today in the US.

The Model X has been the only 7-seater EV since launched in 2015.

However, it is up there in the $100k price range and the 2 rear seats are not very spacious,

nor is the Model X considered a true Full-size SUV.

The Model Y has a third-row option but is definitely not a contender

in the Full-size true SUV EV. nor is the Mercedes EQB.

The Mercedes EQS does offer a larger EV SUV with 7 seat option,

but the price is north of $140k.

Also Hyundai Ioniq 7, Kia EV 9, Volvo EX90, Vinfast VF9 and VW ID.BUZZ,

are expected to come to the US sometime near the end of 2023 or 2024.

Even though, their sizes vary, prices are currently unknown,

besides the Volv0 EX90 and VinFast VF9 at $80k.

The R1S has been ramping up quickly lately and seems to be

the only true full-size 7-seat EV in the US this year, possibly into 2024.
